Born in Monroe, Louisiana, Shaundollyn has always been exposed to music.  Her father was a well-known jazz saxophonist and band director in Louisiana.  She played both flute and piano throughout her childhood as well as singing in the church choir.   Shaundollyn grew up listening to all kinds of music - gospel, pop, R&B, and classical.  You will hear elements of all these musical styles in her compositions.

As a composer/arranger, her songs blend elements of jazz and R&B with traditional gospel.  Many are touched and motivated after hearing her melodious voice and inspired lyrics.  A truly talented singer and lyricist, Shaundollyn sings in churches across the United States, and debuted in England in the spring of 2001.  Her lyrics have been included in "Under a Quicksilver Moon" a book of poetry by the International Library of Poetry and in "Poetry & Praise Productions 2001", a book of poetry produced by Poetry & Praise Productions of Columbus, Ohio, and published in Peterborough, England.
